On March 8th, International Women´s Day, Globo News Television interviewed Jacqueline Pitanguy on the program The 6 PM Journal. Jacqueline gave an overview of the situation of women in Brazil and presented the book The Progress of Women 2003-2010, edited by CEPIA with the support of UN Women.

IPEA, the research institute on economy of the Brazilian Government has published a book , organized by Maria Aparecida Abreu, with articles on different issues related to the situation of women . Jacqueline Pitanguy contributed to this volume with a text on the historical campaign of Brazilian women to assure their rights in the 1988 Constitution.
